TendPrivacy policy

In short: everything you put into Tend stays on your iPhone. The app has no accounts, servers, analytics or ads, and we can't see your data. Nothing you enter is sent to us.
Who we are
Tend is made by Henos ("we"). You can reach us at chris.bouras@henos.io.
What stays on your phone
Your areas, things, tasks, commitments, numbers, check-ins, wins, goals and photos you add are stored only on your device. The home screen widget reads a summary from the same device. Reminders are scheduled on your phone as local notifications. We never receive any of it.
Apple Health
If you connect Apple Health, Tend reads only the types you choose, such as steps, sleep, workouts or resting heart rate, to show trends and count toward goals. Tend never writes to Apple Health. Health data is not sent to us and is not used for advertising.
Chat with Apple Intelligence
Chat uses Apple Intelligence. It runs on your iPhone, or on Apple's Private Cloud Compute for larger requests, which Apple designs so your data isn't stored or seen by anyone, including Apple. Nothing is sent to us. You can mark any area as private, and chat won't read it. Apple's handling is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Photos
Photos you choose (for example a framed photo in a room) are copied into Tend's storage on your device. Tend can't see the rest of your library.
Purchases
Purchases and the free trial are handled by Apple. We don't receive your name, email or payment details. Tend checks your purchase with Apple on your device.
Export and deletion
You can export all your data from Settings as a file you control. Deleting the app deletes everything Tend has stored. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
This website
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't identify you, and doesn't track you across other sites. It sees things like which page you visited, the country you're in and the kind of device you're using, only in aggregate. The app itself has no analytics.
Children
Tend isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. If a change affects what leaves your phone, the app will tell you before it happens.
